Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. By accessing our website or using our repair services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and TechRepair Pro ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, submitting a device for repair, or engaging with our services in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Services Provided
TechRepair Pro provides professional electrical repair and data recovery services, including but not limited to:
- Gaming console repair (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
- Laptop and computer repair
- Smartphone and tablet repair
- Graphics card repair and servicing
- HiFi audio equipment repair
- Thermomix appliance repair
- Dyson product repair (vacuums, fans, air purifiers)
- Data recovery from hard drives, SSDs, and storage devices
- General electronics repair
We strive to provide accurate diagnoses and quality repairs, but we cannot guarantee that all devices can be repaired or that all data can be recovered.
3. Service Process
3.1 Diagnostic and Quote
Upon receiving your device, we will perform a diagnostic assessment to identify the issue and provide you with a repair quote. Diagnostic fees may apply and will be communicated to you before service begins. If you decline the repair after diagnosis, diagnostic fees are non-refundable.
3.2 Authorization
Repairs will not commence without your explicit authorization. By authorizing a repair, you agree to pay the quoted price plus any applicable taxes. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process, we will contact you for additional authorization before proceeding.3.3 Turnaround Time
We aim to complete most repairs within 24-48 hours. However, turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on parts availability, complexity of repair, and current workload. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
3.4 Parts and Materials
We use genuine OEM parts when available or high-quality aftermarket parts that meet our standards. All parts replaced become our property unless otherwise requested at the time of service.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. A deposit may be required for certain repairs or parts orders.
If you fail to pay or collect your device within 30 days of repair completion, we reserve the right to charge storage fees of $5 per day. Devices unclaimed after 90 days may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
5.1 Repair Warranty
All repairs are warranted against defects in workmanship for 90 days from the date of service. This warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not extend to other components or issues. The warranty is void if:
- The device is tampered with, opened, or repaired by anyone other than us
- The device is damaged due to misuse, abuse, or accident
- The device is exposed to liquid, extreme temperatures, or environmental damage
- Unauthorized modifications are made to the device
5.2 Parts Warranty
Replacement parts are warranted according to the manufacturer's warranty, typically 30-90 days. OEM parts may carry longer warranties as specified by the manufacturer.
5.3 Data Recovery
Data recovery services are provided on a "best effort" basis. We do not guarantee successful recovery of data. Our "No Data, No Fee" policy means you only pay if we successfully recover your data. However, diagnostic and attempted recovery fees may apply regardless of outcome if specified in advance.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechRepair Pro shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data, even if you did not back up your data before service
- Loss of use, revenue, or profits
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Damage to software, settings, or configurations
- Incompatibility issues arising from repairs
- Pre-existing conditions not discovered during initial diagnosis
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not apply to you.
7. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Data Backup: Backing up all data before submitting your device for repair. We are not responsible for data loss.
- Password/Security: Providing necessary passwords or disabling security features to allow repairs. Failure to do so may delay or prevent repairs.
- Accurate Information: Providing accurate information about the device and the issues you're experiencing.
- Device Ownership: Confirming that you are the legal owner of the device or have authorization from the owner to repair it.
- Prohibited Content: Ensuring your device does not contain illegal, stolen, or copyrighted content. We reserve the right to report illegal content to authorities.
- Timely Collection: Collecting your device within a reasonable time after notification of completion.
8. Data Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and handle your devices and data with strict confidentiality. Our technicians will not access, view, copy, or disclose your personal data except as necessary to perform the requested service or as required by law.
For data recovery services, recovered data will be transferred to you via secure means and permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of service completion unless you request otherwise.

9. Cancellation and Refunds
9.1 Cancellation
You may cancel a service request before work begins without penalty. If work has already commenced, you may be charged for labor and parts already used or ordered.
9.2 Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with our repair, please contact us within 7 days. We will assess the issue and, at our discretion, may offer to re-perform the repair, issue a partial refund, or issue a full refund. Refunds are not available for:
- Diagnostic fees
- Services performed as agreed
- Damage caused after service completion
- Non-covered warranty claims
10. Abandoned Property
Devices left at our facility for more
than 90 days after notification of repair completion or after you decline repair will be considered abandoned property. We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned devices to recover storage and repair costs. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposal.11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TechRepair Pro or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Submit devices containing stolen property or illegal content
- Use our services to violate any laws or regulations
- Misrepresent ownership of devices
- Provide false or misleading information
- Interfere with our business operations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use our website to transmit viruses or malicious code
13. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for parts procurement, shipping, payment processing, or other business functions. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or services of these third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first to attempt an informal resolution. We are committed to addressing your concerns fairly and promptly.
14.2 Arbitration
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechRepair Pro regarding our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
